How to Join
The Hawaii Florists & Shippers Association,
a non-profit organization, was established in 1948. Since then,
HFSA has served
its members, now over 400 strong, in the floral and ornamental
horticulture industry.
The Association works to build your business opportunities and
reduce your costs of operation. HFSA has several important goals:
to seek support from federal, state and county government for
funds to support our floriculture industries; to cooperate with
government regulatory agencies to create and to maintain beneficial
programs-i.e., to build and maintain trade opportunities to export
our products---through trade shows, design shows, and improved
air transportation rates; to offer incentives and opportunities
for students to enter our industry, through the awarding of scholarships.
The membership in this Association is open to any person who
is engaged in the growing, handling, shipping, and /or servicing
of Hawaii grown flowers, foliage, and agricultural nursery products.
The Association dues, per calendar year (January through December
31) are $100 for regular members who want the privilege of the
special FedEx shipping rates, and $30 for associate members who
do not require special rates and privileges of our standard membership.
If you are interested in becoming a member,
please complete the registration
